Gemini Season 2020 isn’t like one this world of humans may remember, but it is special and purposeful indeed.

With Gemini ruling the 3rd sign of the zodiac wheel, you are moving along in the Sun's Progression.

During this period, the Sun in Gemini is hungry for knowledge and hands-on experience. This is the Solar month where you take the ideas initiated in Aries season, formed in Taurus season, and begin to express and test them now.

But with several planets (Pluto, Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter) retrograde, and Mercury and Neptune soon joining the mix, it's best to explore ideas slowly and with reverence.

One thing to note is that Gemini gets pinged for being scattered, but that’s only when you're unaware of how you allocate resources and time.

• Gemini New Moon: On May 22, the Gemini New Moon will align with the Sun, bringing new soil for fresh ideas and connections to be planted.

This lunation brings creative thinking, sociability, and new platforms to share and learn with one another. It’s interesting because Gemini Season is usually the start of conference and seminar season. So we will see how digital webinars and conferences continue to rise during challenging times. Check-in on your friends when you can and stay connected.

• Sun in Gemini and Venus Retrograde conjunct: On June 3, the Sun and Venus retrograde will align in the sky. This synchronization brings excitement and curiosity to your relationships. So if you’ve been struggling to create new habits or express your thoughts clearly to a partner, this aspect will help you.

It’s the perfect time to rewrite your love story with life, creativity, and positive thinking. You may also get the itch to start back on a creative hobby more frequently or maybe exploring old ways of connection.

• Sagittarius Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse: On June 5, the Sun in Gemini will oppose the Moon in Sagittarius, kicking off Eclipse season for 2020. This lunar eclipse is special because it reflects the desires of the moon and illumination of the sun through the earthly shadow (our physical manifestations). 

 Because Eclipse Season always brings sudden changes, expect bizarre things to happen in the global and political climate, especially relating to foreign affairs. This Eclipse also deals with how we publish, share, and tell our stories. 

So don’t be afraid to break ties and jump outside the box. If you’ve been contemplating moving or switching lanes (careers or interests) you may be unwillingly forced to do so. Just embrace it. Whatever comes, you asked for in some way. So let go of what no longer serves. And be open to accepting or at least experimenting with new thought patterns and belief systems.

•  Mercury retrograde in Cancer: as if we needed any more planets to station retrograde, on June 18, Mercury will station retrograde in the fourth sign of Cancer until July. 

During this period, how we process, interpret, and express our emotional waters is under review. Mothers, women, and children will feel this one the most! So do not be afraid to ask for help. 

With Gemini season and Venus retrograde in Gemini encouraging us to dig deeper into our thoughts and their origins, Mercury in Cancer taps into our roots. Emotional patterns and karmic lessons that were passed down genetically are being cleared out.

 Old memories from the past and your childhood may come up. If you’ve lost a parent, are a single parent, or the matriarch in your family, you may need more assistance than usual. Just be honest and open about your rawness. You don’t have to prove your softness, transparency, or kindness to anyone else.

• Sun in Gemini conjunct North Node in Gemini and oppose South Node in Sagittarius: On June 19, the Sun in Gemini will align with the North Node in Gemini, bringing clarity, insight, and intrinsic guidance from the higher realms.
