What is a solar eclipse?

A solar eclipse is a cosmic phenomenon that supports opportunities for radical change. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon aligns between the Sun and Earth. In a solar eclipse, the Sun symbolizes a challenge that encourages you to find new ways of expressing your ego in your life. The Moon symbolizes the emotional boundaries or blockages that may keep you from expressing your ego in a way that is beneficial to your life purpose and personal growth. The Earth symbolizes the collective and our abilities, the primal connection, and vitality we share with the Cosmos.

It’s important to note that Eclipses come in pairs. Whenever there is a Solar Eclipse there will be a lunar eclipse within the same month. Unlike the typical new moon effects that last four weeks, the effects of the Solar eclipse will last 6 months and the next decade.

December 2019: Partial Solar Eclipse in Capricorn 

Eclipses are the “alarm clocks” of our internal and external lives. They encourage us to awaken to new possibilities and opportunities to evolve and reprogram. With the December Partial Solar Eclipse occurring at 04 Capricorn, hitting the angles of the 4th and 10th house, the last solar eclipse of the decade will affect matters of career and consequently, the security and state of our personal lives. Many feel “stuck” in their career, or have hopes of transitioning into a position that allows more personal freedom, authority, and recognition. This is an excellent period for entrepreneurship. Those who currently own and operate a business will experience lucky breaks or divine opportunities to expand and secure a “nest egg” for the future.
