Astrology for December 2019: 

December prances in with the gift of giving as Jupiter the planet of luck, opportunity, and fortune kicks off the month with its grand entrance into Capricorn on December 2nd. Jupiter is not alone in its transition. Venus will continue its tour through the practical earth sign until mid-month. Venus will enter Aquarius on the 20th. 

This December is dominated by the cardinal earth sign. With the Sun joining Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter in Capricorn, this is the perfect time for setting long-term goals and establishing a secure foundation to make sure that we can achieve them. The best dates for this would be on or around December 27th. 

After the past few months of extreme scrutiny, this month will feel light and refreshing, even if it means we have to postpone a few parties and get to work. If you’ve been feeling under the weather, or like the universe won’t let you come up for air, expect a boost in energy and support on the 3rd and 4th when Mercury aligns with Pluto and Venus aligns with Mars, both in sextiles. Mentally things will start to speed up around the 9th when Mercury finally leaves Scorpio (Mercury has been in Scorpio since October 3) and enters Sagittarius until the end of the month. Relationship matters get serious around the 11th when Venus and Saturn conjunct in Capricorn. Things start to get foggy on December 12th, the day of the Gemini Full Moon. The very next day, on the 13th, Chiron stations direct, Venus and Pluto conjunct, and Mars will trine Neptune. 

This makes for some very interesting and potentially turbulent energy, but most of it will happen on the inside. For a moment, your confidence and assurance that you are on the right path may fly out the window, but don’t run for the hills. Instead, see what happens if you open your mind to the craziness. On the 20th, relationships take a turn towards the nontraditional when Venus leaves serious, loving, and yet distant Capricorn and enter humanitarian, people-oriented, wise, and nonchalant Aquarius.
