Dec 13: Mars in Sagittarius 

Since October 30, Mars, the planet of action, sexuality, weapons, surgery, and accidents has been in the eighth sign of Scorpio. In its light, Mars in Scorpio brought an increase in everyday investors, debt elimination, self-development, self-discipline, advocating mental health, sexual healing, and detoxing. 

In its shadow, however, Mars in Scorpio brought a rise in gun violence, domestic crime cases (especially against women and society’s hidden elite), spiritual scams, issues with inheritance, armed robberies, home invasions, addictions, and sex scandals.

With Mars officially leaving its home sign of Scorpio on December 13, we should see the dark cloud hanging over society lately start to lift. But please note that the South Node will be moving into Scorpio in January 2022, and this means that the major themes displayed between October - December will have to be addressed over the next two years, collectively.

From December 13 - January 24, Mars will journey through savvy Sagittarius. 

Mars in Sagittarius will bring an increase in international and domestic travel (or with the current placements, issues prohibiting it), cultural adaptation and appropriation, relocation, lifestyle shifts and upgrades, specialized training programs, courses, and seminars, highlights involving authority figures like Federal organizations, high-organized crime rings, and the Supreme Court.

Dec 13: Mercury in Capricorn 

When Transit Mercury is in the tenth sign of Capricorn, you can expect communications and thoughts to take on a more authoritarian and traditionalist tone. 

Capricorn’s strict energy brings any extremist and rebellious thoughts of Sagittarius back down to reality. Capricorn season is a transit of pragmatism and maintaining one’s public image.

For some, the mental rigidity of Mercury in Capricorn can feel limiting and burdensome.

Conjunct Pluto, the planet of rebirth, this deeply transformative transit urges you to evaluate the current structure of your finances, business/profession, and core relationships. As the opposite sign of nurturing Cancer, this transit also highlights generational traditions and familial dynamics. There may be issues with power struggles, manipulation, capitalism, bankruptcy, and self-control. The goal of this transit is to identify any weak spots in your foundation and strengthen them. Do not be discouraged by limitations. You can do hard things. 

It may be helpful to ask yourself, what do long-term success and financial stability look like to me? Am I currently on the path to achieving it? If not, how do I refocus and realign with my long-term goals?
