The Month of September from an Astrological view:
In astrology, September is primarily ruled by the sign of Virgo. September is an important month for the Zodiac and the Earth as it represents cosmic movement into the cardinal energy of Libra, the changing of the earthly and heavenly seasons.
September will begin with the Sun rising in the sign of Virgo. The Sun entered Virgo on August 23, 2019 and it will remain here until it moves into Libra on September 23, 2019. While the Sun is rising in Virgo it will not be alone. Mercury, Venus, and Mars will all be in Virgo for the first few weeks of September, however, Mars will remain in Virgo until October.
With Mercury and Venus both in Virgo until September 14, 2019, our relationships and communication patterns will be more practical and “critical” than usual. During this transit we are more likely to question everything, encouraging many of us to get down to the bottom of something. If you need to do any research or self-study on a critical issue happening in your life, the first two weeks of September are the best times this year to do it, especially on September 6 when Mercury in Virgo sextiles the True Node retrograde in Cancer.
Relationship issues may get tricky on or around September 4 when Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and on September 17 when Venus in Libra opposes Chiron retrograde in Aries, be honest and patient with others and yourself, we are on edge and more sensitive during these times.
Mars will remain in Virgo until October 4, 2019. During this transit we should take advantage of our ability to make practical decisions from a grounded place of intuition and logic, however, we should be mindful of procrastination as Virgo can sometimes over analyze something to the point of mass destruction. The best day to start a new task or project would be on September 2, 2019 when the Sun and Mars conjunct in Virgo. If you did your research and built a solid foundation, you’ll start to see some tangible results on September 9 and 19 when Mars forms healing trines to Saturn and Pluto both retrograde in Capricorn.
On September 18, 2019, after almost six months in its retrograde station, Saturn will station direct. When Saturn is retrograde lessons around time-management, self-discipline, authority, money management, and etc are more deliberate and slow moving. When Saturn stations direct in its retrograde shadow zone (where it will be until ), we rise out of this period of delay with greater clarity, personal responsibility, and self-inflicted positive limitation.
