Weekly Horoscopes: March 2 - March 8, 2020
/This week brings major changes. So do whatever it takes to stay grounded and centered in your highest self.
You may notice a shift in thinking on Monday when the Pisces Sun squares the Gemini First Quarter Moon. This aspect encourages us to make good on our dreams and put them into action. Focus on incorporating more trust and inspiration into your crafts. It may be helpful to collaborate or connect with someone you trust for increased motivation.
However, things may get tense on Tuesday when Venus in Aries squares off with Saturn in Capricorn. If you experience increased stress surrounding love matters or finances, commit to more time for self-care and replenishment. With the Sun active in Pisces, and Mercury still retrograde, it’s never been more important to take care of your health.
Wednesday (March 4) is a huge day in terms of our astrological calendar. Venus will leave fiery Aries and enter Taurus. This change of energy should be comforting to lovers, especially if you’ve been at odds more than usual.
On the other hand, this is an excellent period for financial growth and prosperity. Combined with business-oriented Mars in Capricorn, be mindful of your financial investments and commitments. If you play your cards right, you may experience increased income streams starting in Late May.
On the same day (March 4), Mercury retrograde will leave Pisces and backtrack into Aquarius for two weeks. However, Mercury will station direct in Aquarius on March 10.
With Mercury retrograde in Aquarius, this is an excellent time to review any technological improvements that need to be made like your website or online bank statements. This energy may also bring you into contact with an old friend or distant lover. Keep the door closed if it no longer serves you.
Be mindful of your emotions on March 4. With the Waxing Cancer Moon in hard aspects with Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Pluto, power struggles are most likely blown out of proportion. This energy also brings up conflicts in your home and work-life balance. A temporary sacrifice may need to be made for better long-term results.
Use the weekend to get out and about to celebrate all the hard-work and progress you made this week.
By Sunday, you will feel a deep call to slow down and organize. You can thank the Virgo Full Moon on March 9 for that.
See what this week has in store for your sign: if you know your Rising, read that first. Then read your Sun and Moon.
Aries:
With Venus and Saturn blocking some of your goals, you may feel like the odds are stacked against you. But be mindful of where you place your energy, you could be feeding the negativity instead of moving through it. With the Pisces Sun highlighting your ending sector, be open to any endings that come your way, especially with Lilith (our divine feminine power) and Chiron (the wounds that make us who we are) conjunct in your sign.
Key: be willing to do the work without validation. Use this week to reconnect to your “why.”
Taurus:
If the past few weeks have been intense for you, things should lighten up mid-week when Venus joins Uranus in your sign. Even still, this week requires focus and determination if you want to get things done. With the Gemini First Quarter Moon highlighting your income and assets sector at the beginning of the week, money may be on your mind. But before you can ask for what you know you deserve, you need to reconnect to your sense of self-worth. This is especially true with Lilith (our divine feminine power) and Chiron (the wounds that make us who we are) conjunct in your ending sector. If you need extra time to heal through a personal wound or loss, that’s okay.
Key: Don’t be afraid to fight for what you deserve. Just make sure that your intentions are pure.
Gemini:
With the First Quarter Moon in Gemini highlighting your house of self at the beginning of the week, you may improve some aspect of your physical appearance, and possibly even make progress on a passion project or short-term goal. Use this momentum wisely because you may run into delays once Venus joins Uranus in Taurus mid-week. This placement highlights your ending sector, and unexpected mishaps may catch you by surprise. Mercury in Aquarius will also station retrograde, and this may affect any long-distance or travel plans. If you are in the process of publishing a digital project, it may be best to wait until next week when Mercury stations direct.
Key: Avoid doing things on a whim. Do your research before you make a decision.
Cancer:
With the First Quarter Moon in Gemini highlighting your house of ending and completion, the beginning of the week may start extremely low for you. However, the Moon will move into your sign midweek and align with the North Node in your sign, aligning you with your true purpose. With this energy supporting you, you may feel more confident about pursuing a lifetime goal, just be patient with yourself as the Moon is opposite Jupiter, Mars, Pluto, and Saturn in Capricorn, indicating struggle and opposition.
Key: Take a load off this weekend and gather with close friends for a night of luxury and comfort. Try not to stress over what you cannot control.
Leo:
Financial discipline isn’t your strong suit, but this week you may have to exercise more restraint than usual. With the First Quarter Moon in Gemini encouraging you to make improvements for your future, it may be helpful to consult a mentor or advisor for additional guidance and mental support. At the same time, Mercury stationing retrograde in Aquarius this week may bring up issues in your love life. An ex lover, friend, or habit may pop back up for reconnection. Before you let this person or thing back in, make sure it aligns with where you are now. It’s easy to look back when you’re moving forward, but this time, it may be in your best interest to let this go for good.
Key: Affirm your boundaries. Give yourself credit for how you’ve come.
Virgo:
With the Full Moon in your sign happening next week, you could be reflecting on the past six months more than usual. The Moon will be transiting the most sensitive and private places of your chart, so don’t hesitate to take frequent breaks or get more rest than usual. Mercury will also station retrograde in your house of health and routine midweek. You should use this transit to review your diet, work schedule, and overall lifestyle. Instead of jumping into a new routine, think about your long-term goals. Ask yourself what do I want to accomplish in the next six months? What can I do right now to get there?
Key: Be honest about what needs to end in your life. If you are overgiving or taking on more than you can handle, it may be time to put yourself first.
Libra:
After an intense February, you may experience healing in your relationships, especially with Lilith (our divine feminine power) and Chiron (the wounds that make us who we are) conjunct in your self-love sector. On the other hand, with Venus (your planetary ruler) entering Taurus midweek, you may be feeling more responsibility in your finances and short-term goals. If you are looking for a new way to bring in passive income or eliminate debt, the Venus and Uranus conjunction this weekend will assist you in this area. Even still, this transition won’t be easy; you’ll need to commit wholeheartedly to get through.
Key: Be open to the unexpected. Prepare for the future instead of just praying for it.
Scorpio:
With Venus entering your polar sign of Taurus midweek, things could become very intense for you. This transit will directly affect your relationships, challenging you to find healthy ways to communicate and connect without sacrificing who you are as an individual. On a financial level, this could be good for you, but you’ll need to wholeheartedly commit to your goals. Although you will feel this energy all month long, it may become impossible to ignore this weekend when Venus and Uranus conjunct in Taurus.
Key: Be honest about your needs and values. If you want something, you can have it, just try not to obsess over it.
Sagittarius:
The Gemini First Quarter Moon brings relationship challenges to the surface at the beginning of the week. With Mars in Capricorn highlighting your income and assets, you may be experiencing tension with a business executive or love partner (this is even truer if you work with your lover). On the other hand, this tension forces you to get clear about your feelings and personal needs. Mercury stationing retrograde in Aquarius midweek brings a delay to a communication project or conversation. Before you force a matter that you’re unsure about, think about it. You should feel more certain about your decision next week.
Key: Practice patience with yourself and others. Things aren’t always as they seem.
Capricorn:
A lot is riding on you this week, Capricorn, and for you to get it all done, you need to start the week centered and grounded. With Venus entering Taurus on the same day that Mercury stations retrograde in Aquarius, money is definitely on your mind. But what’s even more important to you is how you make the money; not just the dollar amount. It may be helpful for you to pause a project temporarily, or until you feel more confident in what you’re doing. With Mars in your sign all month, this is a period of self-discovery, and you don’t need to fixate on one thing.
Key: Keep an open mind and practice patience. Don’t be in such a hurry.
Aquarius:
With the Gemini First Quarter Moon encouraging you to push play on a passion project at the beginning of the week, take advantage of the mental clarity and optimism that you feel. Mercury will temporarily station retrograde in your sign midweek. You should use this transit to reflect on your personal goals and overall physical appearance. It may be helpful to push pause on any major plans and ask yourself, “what do I feel and need at this moment? What is my spirit/intuition/angels/God telling me? This is especially important with Mars in your house of ending and seclusion all month. On the other hand, you should feel a sense of closeness and support from your family starting this week. An unexpected change in this area of your life may come this weekend when Venus and Uranus conjunct in Taurus.
Key: Give your mind, body, and spirit the rest it needs. Don’t force what doesn’t flow.
Pisces:
Happy Birthday, Pisces! With Mercury stationing retrograde in your ending sector of Aquarius this week, you should listen to your body and take a break from the social realms. This doesn’t mean that you need to neglect your priorities, but you should take a moment to reconnect to your source of energy and inspiration. Venus will also enter Taurus on the same day that Mercury moves back into Aquarius, and this transit encourages you to be more consistent in your communications and marketing. If possible, connect with nature this weekend, especially on March 8 when the Sun and Neptune conjunct in your sign. New beginnings are approaching; make space for your dreams to flourish.
Key: Trust the process. Things are happening faster than you expect.
