November 2018: Scorpio New Moon and Planetary Transits
/Happy New Moon in Scorpio Dear One!
“the only way to embrace darkness is to enter it.” -ML
Today’s New Moon takes us deep into the underbelly of the underworld as we come face to face with our power, our transformation, our resurrection. During the Dark Moon in Libra we took some time to evaluate our relationship to death and what it signifies in our personal realms, now, today we begin to plant into the darkness of this fertile speed, creating alters, and ceremonies to acknowledge and celebrate that which is old and new.
The New Moon in Scorpio creates a relationship with Lilith, the asteroid of divine power and the ultimate feminine essence. Lillith is raw power. Lilith is the fuel that fans the flame and keeps our engine burning long after we’ve burnt ours. Lillith says don’t you dare give up, and gives us the power and will not to.
This New Moon creates a paradigm of new beginning. With Pluto being the natural dominion ruler of Scorpio, this New Moon encourages transformation. Think about the areas of your life that are stagnant? That are reliant on your ability to allocate and attract new resources? Or depend on you to manage and/or oversee? How can you delegate? How can you share the burden by creating an outreach community of support and responsibility? How can you acknowledge others within the commitment(s) that you’ve made?
The planetary aspects surrounding this New Moon push us deeper into the realm of self and ancestral healing. The New Moon’s square with Lilith in Capricorn inspires us to heal the ancestral wounds of our trauma surrounding power. Take back your power. Find strength within this challenge. How can you Manifest the security and progression that you seek?
With Neptune Rx in Pisces squaring Mercury in Sagittarius, our dreams get a reality check. Do not allow others to break down your vision just because they cannot see it. If they don’t support you, so what. Keep moving until someone comes along that will support this dream and help you communicate it more efficiently. Especially after two days of The Sun in Scorpio forming a harmonious Trine with Neptune Rx in Pisces, this sudden lack of support and challenge from close friends, associates, lovers, and family could come as a shock and a low blow of some sort.
Uranus doesn’t help out with the tension of today’s potency as it continues its subtle opposition with Venus Retrograde in Libra. This dynamic challenges our desires of independence and diplomacy, do we live for self or others, the answer is both. Finding a middle ground between independence and Co-dependency is interdependence. Creating a relationship of interdependence allows us to manifest from a place of self-responsibility and authentic power.
Things You Should Note About the November 2018 Scorpio New Moon
power struggles aren’t worth entertaining. ignore those who push your buttons but don’t roll over to their tyranny. with this being election season, we as individuals are exercising our divine birth right to choose. choosing yourself is not a crime. choosing what you believe in is ultimately choosing yourself. don’t be afraid to live life against the grain. with mars still floating through Aquarius, our liberating spirits are still up and at em, ready to demolish anything that questions our freedom. always remember that you are still an individual. you are a being within the whole. make it a priority to give to yourself just as much as you give to others.
money comes and money goes, but that doesn’t mean you have to be foolish about how you spend it. how much money we make is not whats important, its our emotional relationship to money that steers our boat. if you fear money, if you hold shame around money, if you envy or hate money, then you will create negative patterns and life cycles surrounding how you receive and spend your money. but when you open to the energetic frequency of money and allow it to be a companion in your reality, its like your best friend, always around when you need it.
narcissism can show up deep and true for a lot of us light workers this lunar cycle and its important to stay grounded no matter what. being your biggest fan is your birth right, and so is living in your light. But we all know what a show off looks like. be conscientious of your intentions when sharing your gifts with the world. give from a place of compassion and inclusivity. don’t be the asshole who only goes to the soup kitchen for instagram and photo ops. be sincere with your transgressions. we all know a liar and a phony when we see one. don’t let it be you.
Things to do During the Scorpio New Moon:
1. Create an action plan.
Think about your big picture. Where are you going? How did you get here? What will you need on your journey? This exercise can be written down, drawn out, or turned into a vision board. It’s purpose is to create a simple action plan that encourages you to take small steps towards one or multiple big goals.
2. Connect with an accountability partner.
Establishing a connection of accountability allows two people to share responsibility for each other’s actions. No, this person is not your mother or your life coach, your accountability partner simply holds you to your commitment, and enforces the consequences you agreed on when you do not. This support practice teaches us the power of community and mirroring. We are mirrors for one another’s evolution, when we activate this ourselves, we open up a limitless grid of creativity, compassion, and material support.
3. Create a family tree or road map.
Draw out a road or a tree and try to trace your steps all the way back to your ancestors or the first step you ever took. Call your mom or someone who raised you and figure out your milestones. Think about losing your first tooth, having your first kid, your first job, the first thing you ever bought with your first paycheck, the first place you drove when you got your drivers license, think about the history of your life. It’s so easy to forget all that you have accomplished when you’re so focused on getting to where you are going. Try to express gratitude for your road or family history today.
4. Write your eulogy.
Believe it or not death is our society’s biggest fear and motivator. When something dies, something else lives. When something leaves, something else comes. That’s just the natural cycle of life, the natural cycle of existence. Think about your time on earth. What are you using your power for? What legacy are you leaving behind? What purpose are you serving? What projects, dreams, ideas, and communities will you build for our future? What are you manifesting today to go towards tomorrow? It’s important to know this once you’ve taken a look at where you’ve been. The best way to get clear on what you want to manifest is to think about your death. Come face to face with reality. What will you leave? What will you contribute to the world? Under this Scorpio New Moon connect to the source of your manifestation. Think about the power it takes to live. The power you posses when you die. Think about how you want to meet in the middle and leave something behind. What would you leave? How would we remember you? What did you manifest
